Manchester is a cultural hub with plenty to see and do! Our new SureStore location is in an ideal spot for accessing all that Manchester City Centre has to offer, as well as both Media City and the Intu Trafford Centre.

Trafford has many unique attractions, whether you’re planning a day out with family, friends, or work colleagues. In anticipation for our grand opening, we’ve created a ‘SureStore Recommends’ list of the best things to do in Trafford and nearby Trafford Park.

Manchester United Football Ground

Home to the world-famous Manchester United, Old Trafford Football Ground attracts fans and sports tourists from across the globe and is the largest football ground in the UK with a capacity of almost 75,000.

If you’re lucky enough to be in Manchester on a matchday, then why not watch the beautiful game at ‘The Theatre of Dreams’? Or make a visit to the Megastore for some official memorabilia or a custom shirt? There’s also the Red Café if you fancy some refreshments.

However, if you wish to immerse yourself in the Red Devil’s history, book a place on the Manchester United Museum and Tour Experience for a behind-the-scenes look including the legendary team dressing room, tunnel, dugout and other exclusive areas.

Old Trafford Cricket Ground

Old Trafford Cricket Ground, also known as Emirates Old Trafford, has over 150 years of sporting history.

Established in 1857, the ground has been home to Lancashire County Cricket Club since 1864 and has witnessed the growth of both domestic and international cricket, from the golden era of the 1920’s to the victorious T20 final in 2015 and all the highs and lows in between!

An exciting visit for any cricket fan, Emirates Old Trafford is a legendary ground, and recent developments have made for an exciting 2019 with global fixtures. There’s no better time to catch a game!

It’s also an impressive music venue and has hosted a range of concerts over the years from David Bowie, Bruce Springsteen, The Arctic Monkeys and One Love Manchester.

Inflata Nation

The UK’s first inflatable theme park, Inflata Nation is a fun day out for kids and adults alike! Open 364 days a year, this enormous arena is leading the way for innovative leisure attractions, providing a safe space for you to bounce around and let off some steam!

Activities include the giant Inflata Wall, extremely bouncy Inflata Bubbles and drop slides including THE Inflata, a huge slide for the braver participants!

Why not challenge the kids, your friends or even your colleagues to a race around the inflatable assault course, take part in a gladiator-style duel or show off your basketball skills in the Inflata Hoops area? Inflata Nation is Ideal for all ages, and younger children can safely enjoy the mini inflatable area.

Total Ninja

If you’re looking for a fun and energetic day out in Trafford, then we recommend booking a session at Total Ninja!

The World’s largest Ninja park, this 40,000 sqft space is the ultimate place to train and put your Ninja skills to the test. The park offers something for everybody, with eleven different runs to test your speed and ability and is suitable for all over five years of age.

With safe yet challenging obstacles, Ninjas can balance along beams, leap to the peak of the spider wall and swing through the air! There’s also a Ninja Gym where you can prep your mind, body and soul before taking on the course!

TeamSport Go Karting Trafford Park 

Previously known as Daytona Manchester, TeamSport Go Karting in nearby Trafford Park offers an exhilarating experience perfect for families, parties of friends, colleagues and stag/hen groups.

Only 15 minutes from Manchester city centre, the indoor 450m tarmac circuit is perfect for both experienced Go Kart drivers and those racing for the first time! With karts that can reach 40mph and an average lap time of 38 seconds, it’s the ideal day out for those with a need for speed!

If you don’t fancy getting behind the wheel, there’s a bar and café, also perfect for a post-race beer and snack!

The Depot Climbing Centre

This innovative indoor bouldering centre boasts the largest bouldering wall in Europe. Whether you’re an experienced climber or a keen beginner, The Depot Climbing Centre has hundreds of climbs for all abilities.

Whether you visit during the day or evening, treat yourself to a fresh, home-made pizza from the on-site pizza oven or a coffee and panini at the café.

Located only 5 minutes from the M60, this exciting attraction is ideal for an active family day out, kid’s party, or a team-bonding day with your colleagues.
