Directions to SureStore York from York City Centre 

Our self-storage facility is just 3 miles from the city centre, and customers can reach SureStore York by car in as quick as 9 minutes. 

Head south-east on King’s Square towards St Andrewgate and continue onto Colliergate before making a left onto The Stonebow. At the roundabout, take the first exit and stay on The Stonebow to Peasholme Green. 

Turn left onto Jewbury/A1036 and continue. Turn right onto Clarence Street/B1363, then left onto Wigginton Road/B1363. Before you reach Melodie Park, turn left onto Clifton Moor Gate. Turn right onto Kettlestring Lane and again onto Auster Road. SureStore York is on the right. 

Directions to SureStore York from Haxby 

SureStore York is also just an 8 minute drive from the town of Haxby. From Sainsbury’s in Haxby, head east on The Village towards Tiger Lane. At the roundabout, take the second exit on to York Road. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and stay on York Road. 

Continue onto Crompton Terrace/Haxby Road and continue to follow Haxby Road. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto A1237. At the next roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Wigginton Road/B1363, then turn right onto Clifton Moor Gate. Turn right onto Kettlestring Lane and again onto Auster Road to find SureStore York on the right. 

Directions to SureStore York from the University of York

If you’re driving from the University of York in Heslington or the University of York, Campus East development, you can reach SureStore York in as little as 12 minutes through the city centre and Wigginton Road. 

You can also reach SureStore York from the University of York via the A1237. From University Road, exit the roundabout onto Field Lane. At the next roundabout, take the first exit and stay on Field Lane. When you reach the third roundabout, take the third exit onto Hull Road/A1079. At Grimston Bar, take the first exit onto the A64 slip road to Scarborough/Thirsk. 

After merging on to the A64, use the two left lanes to turn slightly left towards the A1237 and merge again. At the next two roundabouts, take the second and then third exit to stay on A1237. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto Wigginton Road/B1363 before making a right onto Clifton Moor Gate, a right onto Kettlestring Lane and again onto Auster Road to SureStore York.
