Our affordable van hire service is available from £16 per hour or £75 per weekday. So, whether you’re moving business stock from your self-storage unit, or you’re moving home and need to store your household items, you’ll benefit from our competitive prices and straightforward service.
How to Hire a Van from our Self-Storage Facilities
To hire a van, you’ll need to download the free Hertz 24/7 app on your smartphone or tablet device. Download the app here for Apple or Android. If you’re already a Hertz member, you can book online, via the app, or over the phone. Once booked, you’ll then receive confirmation of your reservation by text and email.
Once you’ve picked up the van from your closest SureStore self-storage facility, you’ll then need to follow the display screen prompts to begin your journey. If you require assistance, you can request a call-back from inside the vehicle at any time.
Once your journey or move is complete, simply park the van in the exact place you picked it up from, with at least a quarter full tank of fuel! You then end your booking by tapping the display screen and leave the keys in the vehicle, it couldn’t be any easier!
Please note, while we strive to make our self-storage and extra services as accessible as possible, there are some requirements to van rental. All drivers must be 21 or over and have held their UK driving licence for at least a year. You’ll also need to have a credit or Visa debit card in your name when booking.
