2. Self Storage Insurance Cover
Your stored possessions must be insured while at our self-storage facilities. We can accept some self-sourced insurance policies if suitable. However, we do offer direct and bespoke self-storage insurance for peace of mind. You can secure SureStore self-storage insurance cover when booking your storage unit and will then be charged on a 28-day billing cycle.
3. Deposit & Direct Debit
When booking a self-storage unit, you’ll also need to pay a security deposit equivalent to 2 weeks of storage for home storage customers. However, we may require a larger deposit for business storage customers, office space and trade counters. You will also need to pay a one-off access fee to enable secure access to the facility and your self-storage unit.
As mentioned, our SureStore self-storage prices are based on a 28-day or 4-weekly basis, so you should also ensure you have set up a direct debit payment. Any introductory offers will be at a discounted rate as shown on your initial self-storage quote based on a 28-day billing cycle. In addition, you’ll also receive an extra 5% off self-storage for your first 26 weeks of storage when you book online.
4. Securely Locked
When you book a self-storage unit at SureStore, only you and authorised keyholders will have access. Although our self-storage facilities boast state-of-the-art security, including CCTV and individually alarmed units, you also need the peace of mind of knowing your unit is securely locked at all times and your home or business storage is safe. If you book any storage unit with SureStore, you’ll benefit from a uniquely designed bullet lock that is tamper proof and impossible to break. This state-of-the-art bullet lock is provided free of charge on the day you move into your storage unit. No need for a padlock!
5. Self Storage Access
It’s also a good idea to know the access hours of the self-storage facility you choose. Customers can access their self-storage unit 7 days a week.
Our SureStore reception hours are typically Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm, and Saturday 9 am to 3 pm but it’s best to check the storage location page for exact hours. Our friendly self-storage experts can arrange access outside of the standard operating hours on request.
